- 1 pound ground pork 1
- pound ground lamb
- two eggs
- 1/4 cup finely chopped pistachio nut meats
- 1/2 tablespoon Cardamon
- 1 tablespoon Turmeric
Where to begin?
I have been off track. Nothing like a little travel, followed by a lot of storm to slow a person down.
Add to that the fact that if I am not posting consistently I have a tendency to get down on myself which makes me post even less… It’s a recipe for disaster. Do Not Follow It!
Well, now we are home. I am going to be putting up a blog on Paleo Fare in Disney World. The storm is over and we are incredibly fortunate to have escaped it fairly unscathed. A day without power, but really nothing compared to the throngs of people to our South continuing to suffer. We used to live in Manhattan and my husband still works there every week… It is all very unsettling. My thoughts and good wishes go out to anyone and everyone who can use them!
Now to get back on track. One of the first things I made when we got home from Florida a week and a half ago was this lovely meatloaf of pork, lamb and pistachios. I baked it alongside a couple of acorn and carnival squash, sauteed up some broccolini, and totally relaxed into good food and a dinner at home upon sitting down at the table.
